How summons work. Each party you add receives an email with a magic link to a temporary GavelBot account. They have a deadline to submit their written response — there is no real-time appearance required. They can write at any hour, on any device, for as long as the deadline allows. If a party fails to submit their response by the deadline, the verdict is rendered without their side and labeled accordingly. You may add up to 4 other parties. Summoned parties are not charged.
